R.I.P. Google Video
April 22, 2011 1 Comment
I’ve posted several videos on this site that link to Google Videos. Get them while you still can. Google is shutting down Google Video. I expect them to embrace YouTube and take it to the next level but all videos on Google will be removed very soon. Click on the Video Vault and download the videos you like while you still can.
I suggest using http://keep-tube.com as a way to download almost any video online, including YouTube and Google videos.
From Google:
Uploaded video content no longer available
On May 13, 2011 videos that have been uploaded to Google Video will no longer be available for playback. We’ve added a Migrate to YouTube link to the Video Status page, which will allow you to easily migrate your video to a linked YouTube account. In addition, we’ve added a Download link, so you can download any video content you want to save. If you don’t want to download your videos, you don’t need to do anything. (The Migration and Download features will be disabled after May 27, 2011.)
